This earnings disclaimer explains what you can and can’t expect from the guides, reviews and tips on brightrs.com. The short version: I can’t promise you any income. I want you to know that before you spend any time or money.
The short version of this earnings disclaimer
- I don’t guarantee that you’ll make money.
- Results are different for every person, and many people earn little or nothing at first.
- Examples on this site show what’s possible, not what’s typical.
- Nothing here is financial, legal or tax advice.
No guarantee of income
Everything on this site is for education and information. I write about internet marketing, digital marketing and ways to make money online. But I can’t promise that following a guide, using a tool or joining a program will earn you money. I can’t promise traffic, sales, rankings or a specific timeline either.
You’re responsible for your own decisions and your own results.
Why results are different for everyone
Two people can follow the same advice and get very different results. That’s because income online depends on things like:
- how much time and effort you put in
- your skills and experience
- your budget
- the niche you choose and how much competition it has
- the quality of your offer and your content
- changes in search engines, social platforms and markets
- plain luck and timing
Many people earn little or nothing when they start, especially in the first few months. Building an online income usually takes patience, testing and steady work. If you’re new, my beginner roadmap shows a realistic way to begin.
Examples, numbers and screenshots
Any example, story or number on this site is there to explain an idea. It isn’t a promise, and it isn’t a typical result. If I ever share income or results, they’re individual results, and you shouldn’t expect to match them. Where I can, I’ll explain what it took to get there.
Affiliate income and reviews
Some links on this site are affiliate links, so I may earn a commission when you buy through them. That’s how this site earns money, and I explain it in my affiliate disclosure.
It doesn’t mean you’ll earn money from those products yourself. A tool, program or course may work well for one person and not at all for another.
Reader stories and testimonials
If I share a reader’s story or a testimonial, it reflects one person’s experience. It isn’t a guarantee that you’ll get the same result.
Claims from other companies
Many companies advertise big earnings to sell their products or courses. Those claims belong to them, not to me. I can’t check every claim, and a company’s marketing doesn’t change what I say on this page. Before you buy anything, read the company’s own earnings disclosure if it has one, and look for honest reviews from real users.
How to protect yourself from income hype
The FTC has told businesses that false or misleading claims about earnings are not allowed. You can read more in the FTC’s consumer alert on deceptive money-making claims. Even so, hype is everywhere. ftc
The FTC lists three common warning signs of an online business scam. Be careful with anyone who: ftc
- guarantees you’ll make a lot of money
- says you can make money quickly and easily
- pushes you to buy right now, or you’ll “miss out”
I try to hold myself to the same standard. I won’t promise you results.
Be careful with your money
- Never spend money you can’t afford to lose on tools, ads or courses.
- Start small, and use free plans, trials and money-back guarantees where you can.
- Add tools one at a time, when you really need them.
- Keep records of what you spend and what you earn.
Not financial, legal or tax advice
I’m not a lawyer, a financial adviser or a tax professional. What I write is general information based on my own experience. If you do earn money online, you may need to pay tax on it, and the rules depend on where you live. Please speak to a qualified professional before you make important decisions.
